Castle Hill Players Audition Form

Audition Details:

Audition Date: Tuesday 28th July 2026
Arrive: 7:30pm for a 7:45pm start

Location: The Pavilion Theatre, Doran Drive, Castle Hill

Read the play you NEED TO KNOW what you are auditioning for.

Prepare a 1-2min (no longer) monologue; this is primarily for me to see you at your prepared best including the appropriate accent/voice i.e. English, Scottish. We will also work from the script.

Note: This is a community theatre production. No payment is given.

The Run:

Rehearsals:
- Rehearsals start 31st August. Monday and Thursday evenings, 7:30–10:30pm, with Saturday sessions added closer to first preview.
- Set building and decorating is a shared effort, and everyone is expected to pitch in during bump-in weekends.
- Lines should be off-book by the second week of rehearsals, apart from Her Majesty due to the scale of the role.
- Due to the way the play rolls out, most actors will only be required one night a week until bump-in.

Previews:
Monday 9th & Wednesday 11th November (7:30pm / 8pm curtain respectively)

Performance Dates:
Friday 13th November - Saturday 5th December. Wed, Fri & Sat - 8pm curtain, Sun - 4pm curtain
